And behind those numbers are thousands of moments we may never be able to count: friendships formed, fears faced, character strengthened, new skills learned, prayers prayed, countless moments of laughter and fun, and young people discovering more about who they are and who God created them to be.

These are the stories we get to tell because of what God is doing through camp, and because partners like you make these experiences possible.

For Nestor, his story is one of trust.

At the end of his week at camp, Nestor shared:

“What I learned about myself this week is that I need to start trusting people more. And this week I started doing that.”

For many of the young people our ministry partners walk alongside, trust can take time. Difficult experiences can make it hard to trust others - or even themselves. But camp creates a unique space for that process to begin.

Through shared experiences, caring leaders, new friendships, challenges, laughter, and Christ-centered community, a young person can take a risk begin to trust.

Our ministry partners walk with young people like Nestor all year long. They build relationships, develop life skills, and point them toward hope. Camp becomes a powerful part of that journey. It's a place where God often works in concentrated and unexpected ways. And that growth continues long after summer ends.

So today, we simply want to say thank you.

Thank you for giving. Thank you for praying. Thank you for partnering with camps, ministries, and Star Rock to write stories like Nestor's.
